Condition Report:
The canvas has been lined and is providing a strong and stable support to the paint surface. The work is ready to hang. Examination under ultra-violet light reveals infilling to the buildings and boat below, and the craquelure is visible in natural light upon very close inspection. There are some minor retouchings to the sky and upper and right edge - tiny flecks - except for a thin line to the left of the tallest mast measuring approximately 1 1/2 inches.
