Biography - Jean Carzou, born Karnik Zouloumian in 1907 in Aleppo, Syria, and died in 2000 in France, was a French painter, illustrator and theater decorator of Armenian origin. Known for his unique style blending realism and poetry, Carzou created landmark works in modern art, including sets and costumes for theater and opera.
