GEROME” on the plinth Bears the stamp “SIOT DECAUVILLE PARIS” and the number “200H” H. 39 x W. 39 cm The famous Orientalist painter Jean-Léon Gérôme successfully ventured into sculpture for the 1878 World’s Fair.
