Pan and Nymph
Inscribed Jean-CAMUS, edition cire originale, and with impressed foundry mark CIRE PERDUE / BISCEGLIA to side of base
Bronze figural-group sculpture with variegated green patina on terrain-form rectilinear base. Pan depicted at rest, arching forward with shins parallel to the ground, supporting a nymph in the semi-supine position over the knees and calf, with arms respectively wrapped around with hands over nymph. Minor handling wear with losses in surface patina along outer protrusions, particularly Pan's hooves, left elbow, and back of head and nymph's feet, knee, and breast; minor pitting visible to interior of rear corner.
