For 17 years he developed several original techniques which freed him from the constraints inherent in the academic woodcarving he learned from his master. In his quest to obtain more and more independence from the material he abandoned this support in 1985, bronze then became his favourite material. In forty-five years he has created nearly 250 sculptures which show the strong personality of this artist. The recognition of his peers and of the public is attested by multiple institutional commissions and numerous national and international exhibitions. He is present in several private collections of great standing. To this day, the quest continues. . . Plumes 2011 / 2012 Imagine a quill planted in a soap bubble. . . This is what Baldini wants us to feel. Made of bronze, the quill touches a glass bubble. A little more lightness! Using the aesthetic and mechanical qualities of different frosted resins, he offers another look at this theme.
