1983 Jeep CJ7.

Enjoy this Jeep in very good condition, undergone a major overhaul over the years by the current owner, almost not an item has been changed.
\r
Original French vehicle, purchased in 2007 with a 2L Renault engine, modified with the installation of an AMC 4L injection engine and its gearbox taken from a 1989 Cherokee.
\r
This project was carried out because in the USA, the CJ7 was marketed with the 4. 2L carburettor, the engine block being the same, the transplant was possible.
\r
The vehicle was completely dismantled for the installation of the engine unit, engine mounts purchased in the US, installation of the AX15 gearbox and the DANA300 transfer case, adaptation of the front rear drive shafts, 3-4 synchro replaced.
\r
Once everything was aligned, reassembled, the chassis was shot-blasted, galvanized and given black paint.
\r
The suspended assembly was replaced by:
- 4 new blades.
- 4 Procomp gas shock absorbers.
- 2 front calipers rebuilt.
- replacement of the rear drum brakes with discs and calipers with cable hand brakes.
- all stainless steel brake hoses are new.
- the front/rear bridges have been redone, replacement of all the joints.
- large new steering gear, new power steering pump.
- new steering damper.
- 5 new aluminum rims.
- 5 General Grabber tires in 33x12. 5x15.

The body, the fenders, the engine hood, have been sandblasted, treated and repainted with epoxy paint in white, new front/rear bumpers, spare wheel support sandblasted, treated and repainted with epoxy paint, the fender extensions are new, the carpet is new, the adjustable bucket style seats are new, the dashboard is new, the instrumentation is original and functional, new steering wheel, Cherokee steering column, new and functional windshield wipers, fluid tray New window cleaner with electric pump.

The engine was checked before disassembly and functional, it would just be necessary to change the tensioner because the chain makes a little clicking noise at low revs.
\r
- 6 new injectors.
- 6 new candles.
- oil change done less than 1000 km.
\r
Gearbox rebuilt, all bearings have been changed, and the synchronization of 3 and 4th as well as the player are new, gearbox oil change less than 50 km.
\r
Everything has been reviewed, the technical inspection will be redone for the sale, currently in collection registration.
