Jeep - Jeepster Commando - 1972

Jeepster commando c101, first registration year 1969, vintage jeep registered in the Italian Classic Vehicle Register (rivs) . The Commando was produced on the Iberian peninsula at Nelli plants in Zaragoza, using the CJ6 101” frame combined with military mechanics, full floating rigid bridges etc. This makes the Commando a very solid car, suitable for any type of use. Original Barreiros engine (very rare - usually the car mounted the Perkins) , small headlights grille (very rare) - in Italy only diesel were imported, full floating front and rear bridge, 4. 88 bevel gears with overhauled braking system, 4 new piston calipers, overhauled 11” drums and new brake shoes. Complete service done 3000 km ago. The car has approx. 33000 original km. I use it on a daily basis and works fine. A piece of Jeep history of sure historical and collecting interest, considering that there were only 8000 units ever produced. Very strong with its 4-speed gearbox + reverse, 2 drive wheels and 4 smaller drive wheels. Greasable leaf shackles HD and 5 cm body lift still to be mounted, other accessories such as chrome rear bumper, original wheel hubs (estimated value €500) , tow bar, original spare steering wheel included in the lot.
