Jefferson Machamer Romp January-1962 Cover Illustration Original Art (Humorama, 1962). "Jarvis, it's time to put the cat out!" This catty comment was clever enough to be used as one of the cover gags for this issue, and also appeared as a cover gag for the October-1967 Comedy Parade. It was reprinted on the inside of the October-1971 Popular Cartoons, and an unidentified May issue of Comedy. Created in ink and ink wash over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9" x 12". Signed in the lower left, toned, and in Very Good condition.
