About: Designed by Jens Risom for Knoll in 1941 the model 666 chair is perhaps Risom's most iconic creation in a career that led American Mid-Century furniture design and is still produced to this day! This exquisite arrangement incorporates a natural aesthetic characteristic of understated Scandinavian design and features frames made of solid birch and a lovely minimalist webbing design for the seat. Perfect as a desk chair or office seating these gorgeous timeless chairs are ready for lifetime more of use. Last two of original six currently available. Condition Details: This exceptional side chair has recently undergone a partial restoration and feature new polyester straps. The solid birch wood frame is in 100% original vintage condition and has aged to perfection. There are no scratches gouges or stains whatsoever and the exquisite wood grain is absolutely stunning in natural light. The prior owner recently redid the polyester strapping and the straps are without stains and are structurally sound so we left them. This chair set is incredibly comfortable structurally sound and ready for decades more of use.
