Jensen - Interceptor - 1954

[ translate ]

This special "Early Jensen Interceptor" is a rare sight. Only 52 copies of this saloon were made. And according to the experts, only 20 are left. The body is made of aluminium, and the engine is a 4 litre, 6 cylinder in-line. The Jensen was imported to the Netherlands from Norway in 2007. In 2007 the car was addressed technically, so it is technically fine, and it got a Dutch registration. This copy has chassis number INT-414451 and is the 41st car produced. The engine is not the original engine, but it was ever replaced with a similar engine. Due to the long standstill, the brakes need attention. The engine runs and the gearbox is also working. All technical parts (engine, gearbox, rear axle and electricity) do need attention due to the long standstill. The bodywork shows corrosion and old repairs in many places. Below is an overview of the owners known to us: 3-3-1954 - 1973 - BH1 4JJ 1973 - ? OLN 606 (Roy Donald Tomlin) ? - 4-12-1984 9 MPO (Stephan/Steven James Palin) 4-12-1984 - 11-8-1987 APR 760A (Trader: Collectors Autos LTD) 11-8-1987 - 6-4-2007 Norwegian registration (Owner: Charles Williams Field) 6-4-2007 - Now Dutch registration number: AM-24-37 The car was originally sold in England and is currently registered in the Netherlands. It needs to be picked up in Bodegraven, the Netherlands. A unique opportunity to own a special British and rare 2-door Saloon. And a wonderful addition to everyone's Jensen collection.
