Condition Report: The garnet and rubies are bright and well polished, showing minimal wear. the old brilliant-cut diamonds are present and correct, bright and lively; total diamond weight approximately 1.6 carats. Some of the sprung hinges are a little loose and there are some small discrete repairs to the hinges (no solder and not easy to spot). The mount shows slight surface wear and a few small dents to the inside. there is a small circular glazed locket panel to the inside of one section, diameter 2.7mm. Length from nose to tail when coiled is approximately 10.5cm. Gross weight 80gm. Dimensions of cabochon garnet 13 x 10.5mm.
