Outstanding jewellery box in richly chiselled and embossed silver. The lid is decorated with a gallant scene inside a ballroom; the four sides are decorated with flowers, plants and musical instruments. Velvet lined inside. With useful storage compartments. Made in Germany (likely in Hanau) in the mid-20th century. Top quality, classy item. Dimensions: 15. 5 x 12 x 5 cm. Total weight: 405 grams. In good condition, with two spots on the velvet (inside) .
