The New French Tools 2 – Three Saws from the Rue Cler, 1984, edition of 50 plus proofs, published by Pace Editions, Inc., New York, printed by Atelier Crommelynck, Paris (D'Oench & Feinberg, 172). Numbered, signed, and dated "16/50 Jim Dine 1984" in pencil l.l., identified on a label from the Thordén Wetterling Galleries, Stockholm, affixed to the backing. Etching, aquatint, and power-tool abrasion on cream wove paper, plate size 23 1/2 x 19 1/2 in. (59.5 x 49.5 cm), framed.
Condition: Full sheet with deckled edges, gently rippling, handling crease near corner l.r., minor crimps to some deckles along the lower edge, floated within the frame, not examined out of frame.
Estimate $600-800

Although the work has not been removed from its frame, there are no other visible issues to report. The frame measures 42 x 30 1/2 x 1 3/4 in.
