Jim Starlin (1949), Jim Starlin Gilgamesh II #4 Story Page 35 Original Art (DC, 1989)....
Jim Starlin Gilgamesh II #4 Story Page 35 Original Art (DC, 1989). Gilgamesh discovers that immortality is for the birds when he emerges from the Void into a far-future Earth and meets humanity's feathered successors for the first time. The encounter gives "Much to Do About Nothing," the final story in Starlin's Mesopotamian-epic-inspired miniseries, a fitting Ozymandias twist: Gilgamesh may have conquered time, but time has conquered everything he built. Twice-up scale in ink and felt tip marker over graphite on DC Bristol board with an image area of 11.75" x 17.75". Slight toning, smudging/soiling, discolored production tape, slight ink fading, blue pencil editorial notes/marks, and handling wear. Signed by Starlin in the lower left. In Excellent condition.
