Jimmy Carter Signed & Inscribed Christmas Card To His Mother, Lillian- Plus Rosalynn and Amy!
Signed card

An oversized holiday card signed by the Carter family and presented to Lillian Gordy Carter (1898-1983). 1p, measuring 14" x 12", [Washington, D.C.], ca. 1980. Signed in the blank lower margin: "Rosalynn Carter", "Jimmy Carter", and "Amy Carter", respectively; with an additional inscription from the President: "With love & Merry Christmas- to Grandma, to Mrs. Lillian, & to Mama-". The card bears a print of a 19th century oil painting, "The President's House", which hung in the oval office. Exhibits minor toning and uneven spot staining to margins. Some lightening to Carter's signature, not detracting from overall appearance. Overall, very good.
