Black ink and graphite drawing on illustration board, figures with star and moon, signed upper right* (Joan Miro, 1893-1983). Dated 2.3.35. 7 1/2 x 6 1/4 inches. Stain to upper left corner, several other small stains at margins, otherwise good condition. Unframed for auction inspection and shipping. Sold without frame.
Provenance: Estate of Robert Thomas, Paris. Purchased by the current owner's family from the latter, circa 1965-70. Thence by descent to the consignor. [Robert Thomas was a private art and rare books dealer.]
