A splendid work dating from 1958, offering a very high quality graphic rendering, extremely decorative and hand-signed by the Catalan master of Surrealism.
Note: in 1957, UNESCO organized a competition for the inauguration of its headquarters in Paris. 11 artists are selected, including Miro for his ceramic wall entitled the “Wall of the Moon”. Project for which he also received the Guggenheim Prize the same year.
This lithograph was printed by Maeght in 1958 from the original which served as a model for the wall.
