An hors commerce color lithograph on Guarro paper by renowned artist Joan Miró (Spanish, 1893–1983) titled Obra Gráfica, 1978. This abstract work was included in a folio featuring text by Joan Teixidor. The print was published by Dirección Gerenal del Patrimonio Artístrico, Archivos y Museos, Madrid and printed by La Polígrafa, S.A. Barcelona. This example is signed by hand and marked “H.C” in graphite to the lower margin. It is presented in a white mat. Included in the catalogue raisonné Joan Miro: Lithographs Volume VI published by Fernand Mourlot, figure 1161.

Born in Barcelona, Spain during 1893 and received his formal education at the Barcelona Ecole des Beaux-Arts and the Academie Gali. He became friends with Pablo Picasso, Alexander Calder, Ernest Hemingway, Max Ernst and Paul Klee. Miró was accepted as a Surrealist in Paris with the recognition of some of the greatest artists of our times.
