Joan Miro, Spanish/Catalan, 1893-1983. Abstract etching in colors. Abstract composition entitled "Le Somnambule" or "The Sleepwalker" (Dupin 656). Number 6 from the 1974 edition of 50 by Maeght, Paris. Early print with excellent colors. Signed in pencil "Miro" lower right and numbered "6/50" lower left. Image 29 1/4 x 45 1/4" high, framed 47 1/2 x 65 3/4" overall. Slight waviness to the paper, no visible damage, not examined out of the frame. ESTIMATE $40,000-60,000 Provenance: Purchased from Harcourts Gallery, San Francisco, CA February 21, 1979 by Dr. and Mrs. Herbert Kaufer, thus by descent.
