As a result of different experiences, he ended up becoming a magnificent restorer, specialized in Gothic art. On his return to Vila-seca, shortly before the Civil War, he restored the sculptures in the baptistery chapel of the Tarragona Cathedral and specialized in large-format sculptural religious imagery. The Vila-seca City Council made a tribute exhibition in September 1977, with the participation of many local artists.
