American jazz singer (1918–1999) who sang with big bands such as the Count Basie Orchestra and the Lionel Hampton Orchestra. Vintage glossy 8.25 x 10 publicity photo of Joe Williams by Lonnie of Chicago, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "Mary Anne—Stay as sweet as you are. Sincerely, Joe Williams.” In very good to fine condition, with light crazing to the emulsion, and some creasing to the upper right edge.
