We would like to thank the Comité Jongkind Paris-La Haye for kindly confirming the authenticity of this lot on the basis of photographs.

Condition Report:
Original canvas. The paint surface is stable but soiled. There is are small areas of craquelure in places notably to the clouds in the upper left quadrant. There are scuffs and scratches in places. Brown tape seems to have been added to protect the edges and therefore mask any possible frame abrasions. Inspection under UV reveals no obvious signs of retouching.
