Inscription: lower left in the plate signed: "J.D. Meyer ad viv. fec. et exc. Norib.", lower right inscribed: "1. Schuh 2. Zoll lang.", top right numbered: "Tab. LXXXIII.", in the middle inscribed: "Das Kaninchen" and "Das Scelet von obigen", inscribed by unknown hand in ink: "Le Lapin" and "son squelète"

Condition: Good condition. Foxspots are visible throughout the entire sheet. Leaf edges slightly wavy, bumped and brownish discoloured. Traces of a former book binding can be seen along the left edge of the sheet. The representation makes a very good impression. The colours are freshly preserved.
