framed: 33 by 24 in.; 83.8 by 60.9 cm

Condition Report:
The canvas is lined. The paint surface is in good condition and under a clean varnish. Craquelure visible most noticeably in the upper half of the composition, particularly in the sky at left. Under UV light, scattered areas of inpainting throughout the sky, most significantly at left, at upper center to address aforementioned craquelure, between and within the two trees at right, right of the Colosseum, along the left edge at center, in the leftmost trees, left of the two figures at right, in the trunks of the center trees, in the foliage at right, and on the veranda at left.
