framed: 44.6 x 58.6 cm.; 17⅝ x 23⅛ in.
Condition Report:
The panel is uncradled, flat and stable. The left margin is supported by an inlaid vertical strip of panel approx. 1cm. wide. The paint surface is relatively clean with a clear and even varnish. There is visible retouching through the sky and clouds. This rather extensive campaign is confirmed under ultraviolet light. It is more difficult to read what intervention there has been in the main composition due to the fluorescing varnish but there appear to be scattered fine lines of horizontal retouching. In overall fair condition.
