An autographed note initialed by John F. Kennedy and addressed to associate Langdon Marvin. Measuring 3.5" x 4.75" (visible), no place, undated. Reading in full: "Langdon/ This is what I was talking about./ J. K.". The note has been written on personalized stationary, originating "From the Desk of John F. Kennedy". Exhibits general toning and surface creasing throughout, with minor tearing at top left corner; single hole punch present to top edge, slightly affecting "Y" of "Kennedy" on letterhead. Else, very good. Matted and displayed with a black and white photograph of the President and First Lady to the overall size of 14" x 11.5".

Langdon P. Marvin (1876-1957), a godson of Franklin D. Roosevelt, worked with and for John F. Kennedy throughout the late 1940s to mid-1950s. He worked as the primary research person and author of Kennedy's air transport and mail subsidy legislation, which was proposed to the Senate in 1952.
