Letter sent while campaigning for his seat in the US Senate, to a future constituent in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. In full: "It certainly was a pleasure to meet you while I was in Longmeadow recently. I enjoyed talking with you and with the members of the Longmeadow Men's Club, and do hope to see you again soon." Handsomely double-matted and framed with a portrait to an overall size of 11 x 20. In very good to fine condition, with light creasing along the two mailing folds. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, bearing a pre-printed free frank.
