published 1979, numbered 38 of 50 editions and signed by the author, bound in maroon Nigerian goat skin leather with gilt tooling and ribbed spine with gilt-edged pages and contained in maroon cloth slip-case, 4to, 560 numbered pages, the opening leaves with some hand-signed and some facsimile signatures of 12 former Rolls-Royce managers, engineers, and employees, deluxe bound for Dr Robin Osler Barnard (1932-2005), a renowned neuropathologist and avid collector of motor cars including a 1924 Rolls-Royce.
