John Jerome Tupa (1928–2004) Winter Birch Landscape Oil Painting
An original oil painting by John Jerome Tupa (American, 1928–2004), depicting a serene winter woodland with white birch trees rising from a snow-covered foreground. Executed in Tupa’s characteristic impressionistic brushwork, the composition combines cool gray skies, textured white snow, and warm rust-colored undergrowth to create a quiet Midwestern winter atmosphere. The bold birch trunks and expressive palette knife-style handling make this a highly decorative and desirable landscape by the Wisconsin and Illinois artist. Signed “TUPA” lower left and presented in an older wood-tone frame with linen liner. Size: 19 x 15 in.
