John Lennon's 1967 Psychedelic Robe

John Lennon's personally-owned and -worn vivid red psychedelic paisley-patterned robe from circa 1967, originating from his home, Kenwood, where he lived from 1964 to 1968. The dazzling robe features half-length sleeves, two large pouch pockets on the front, and a matching waist belt. A "Hartswift" label is sewn on an inner seam. In fine condition. The robe comes from the well-documented Jarlett family collection and is accompanied by a letter of provenance signed by Dot Jarlett, who was John Lennon's housekeeper during his days with the Beatles. Lennon generously gave her clothing and mementos over the years as tokens of his appreciation. The letter of provenance reads, in part: "The coloured Dressing Gown was worn by John Lennon and given to her son whilst 'Dot Jarlett' was in John's employment during the 1960's as his housekeeper at his home 'Kenwood' in St. Georges Hill, Weybridge, Surrey."
