John Moore (of Ipswich) (1820 - 1902) Oil on Woodpanel, Signed Lower Right, Measures (8 x 10 inches) w/frame (12 x 14 inches) John Moore was a prominent Ipswich artist known for his seascapes. He moved to Ipswich before 1871 and found many patrons amongst the town's wealthy inhabitants. He was a founding member of the Ipswich Fine Art Club in 1874.
