Well-preserved pocket watch - made for Oto Schwenck, Hamburg 1861.

The case is made of 18kt yellow gold (0. 585)

Back cover guilloche with engraved coat of arms in the decorative frame in the middle - inscribed BE EVER WATCHFUL (always be vigilant) . Hallmarked inside and 29386

The one-piece dial is made of white enamel and is in good condition. (Hairline crack on the III) - Very fine Roman numerals in black, filigree original steel hands with decoration - blued. Contiguous minute track running on the outside. Small recessed seconds on the six. Inscribed under the twelve OTTO SCHWENCK HAMBURG 1861.

Inner lid also gold. Smooth on the outside - hallmarked on the inside and 29386

Hand position and movement winding on the inner cover - key available.

Housing number in the inner and outer covers is the same.

Fine gold-colored, rare cut-out movement with lever escapement, large compensation balance with gold regulating screws and Breguet hairspring, described by John Neckel.

Work functioning.

Tightly closing lids

Watch diameter 49mm with crown 68mm - weight 81. 2g.
