Partly-printed vellum DS as president, signed ‰ÛÃJ. Q. Adams,‰Û one page, 14 x 9, August 24, 1827. President Adams grants to the heirs of Jacob Baker a parcel of land "containing One hundred and Sixty acres of the Lands directed to be sold at Wooster." Signed at the conclusion by John Quincy Adams, and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham. The white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains intact. Matted and framed to an overall size of 26 x 17. In very good to fine condition, with some creasing, and areas of light toning.
