I’m offering a magnificent oil on canvas, by Royal Accent & Listed Artist John Thomas Young Gilroy. The artist is most famous for his Guinness adverts and also an accomplished portrait painter of royalty, politicians. This is a Portrait of Commander & Alderman Sir Robin Gillett Bart: GBE. RD. Lord Mayor of the City of London 1976-1977. The artist has work in the Parliamentary Art Collection, and several museums such as the Royal Air Force, Royal Marines and Defence Academy. Provenance: This portrait hung for many years aboard the HQS Wellington, moored at the Thames Embankment. Postage TNT the costs reflects the size of the painting.
