There is no damage or restoration to the painting. The inner dimensions are the same as the external dimensions. There is no frame around it, which can also be seen in one of the photos. John van der Valk used acrylic paint on linen. He lived in Utrecht at the time I bought this work from him. I lived in Amsterdam. It hung there for a number of years. Now I've moved and I want something different on the wall.
