1980s. Bentley model 5105, serial #88101259 acoustic guitar made in Korea, signed "Johnny Cash" in felt pen to face, housed in red travel case featuring faded FedEx travel stickers and a handwritten address label "Mr. Johnny Cash / Caudill Dr / Hendersonville, Tennessee."
The guitar and case comes with a COA from Odyssey Group's manager and owner at the time Bill Miller, a personal friend of Johnny's as well as the founder of the Johnny Cash Museum in Nashville, TN and the author of the book Cash: An American Man. Bill Miller emailed the present owner with additional information, declaring that Johnny Cash was personally involved in the original transfer of the guitar, picking out this example and giving it to his assistant to pack and ship it to Odyssey Group.
