The work is signed in the upper right Also on the back is again signed and titled "Matí lluminós" The work is presented framed with a thin wooden strip (small flaw in the frame) Measurements of the work: 60 cm. high x 73 cm. Wide Frame measures: 61 cm. high x 74 cm. Wide Painter and draftsman, Jordi Pausas trained at the La Lonja School and at the Círculo Artístico, both in Barcelona. Later he will expand his studies through a series of trips to France, the United Kingdom and Japan. He began exhibiting in 1969, and since then he has held personal shows in various Barcelona galleries, such as Mundi-Art, Llotja d'Art, Grifé & Escoda, Nonell and others. He has also exhibited in Tarragona (L'Antiquari gallery) , and in many other Catalan cities. His work is based on a first post-impressionist concept, on which the artist builds his own language, expressionist and gestural on some occasions, in which free and spontaneous drawing serves as a counterpoint to the distribution of masses of colour. Pausas' work covers a wide range of themes, perhaps with a preference for landscape.
