Jörg Immendorff (born June 14, 1945 in Bleckede; † May 28, 2007 in Düsseldorf) was a German artist (painting, sculpture, graphics and performance art) and art professor. Since the beginning of the 1980s, Immendorff has become one of the most famous contemporary German artists.
