Self-taught artist, Josep Maria Miralles began his career as an illustrator, first for Spanish magazines and shortly after also for French and British publications. Later he would also draw comics, such as the one published in "Vampirella" (USA) in 1977 or the ones he did for the Toutain publishing house in the eighties. Throughout his career, he has also cultivated painting, and has exhibited his paintings on several occasions.
