José Pueyo was artistically formed in the Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid. He is known for his works of costumbrista theme and for his work as a teacher, since in 1913, he began to work as a professor of Artistic Drawing and Elements of Art History at the School of Arts and Crafts of Baeza.
