Condition Report: Unlined canvas. Graphite underdrawing faintly visible in some areas of thinner paint. Finely patterned craquelure throughout, with a very few scattered, more pronounced cracks. A small area of pigment separation with minor flaking and a spot of loss at left edge, approximately 6-inches up from lower left corner. A very few scattered pinpoint losses.
Under UV: heavily applied varnish fluoresces green unevenly, somewhat obscuring the picture surface. Brushy retouching to edges to address cracking where canvas folds over the stretcher.
