A mid 19th century Joseph Meeks Rococo style six piece parlor set. Laminated Rosewood construction with pierced carved crests decorated with Roses, Grapes and foliate scrollwork, upholstered seats and backs, shaped aprons and cabriole legs. Includes a 63" "Hawkins" Pattern settee, a "Stanton Hall" gentleman's armchair and four "Stanton Hall or Henry Ford" sidechairs. Old finish with general wear and some fading to the wood finish, old damage and multiple repairs to the settee crest with minor losses, some wear and damage to the upholstery. ESTIMATE $6,000-8,000
