Joseph Rogers & Sons Sheffield. Antique late-19th century silver plated egg holder / egg set, consisting of a beautifully shaped stand, 6 x beautifully shaped scalloped egg cups. Can also be used as serving holder for Cruet Cups. The holder has a beautiful sleek shaped handle and the stand has a scalloped edge. The stand standing on 4 round feet. Marked with stamps of 4 hallmarks. 1st grade content. Ca. 1890. Diameter stand 19 cm. Height 20 cm. Height egg cups 8. 4 cm Total weight over 700 grams. The set is in good condition with some signs of old age. It is of a very good, heavy quality! Will be packaged with care and shipped registered.
