Original acrylic on canvas by British painter Joyce Roybal who depicts a lady and bird facing each other in front of a vibrant sun. Roybal used a combination of a textured background made with a sandy base and smooth areas emphasized with thick acrylic paint that he fill into contours for the figure, the bird, and the sun painted with earthy subdued tones of olive green, pale blue and grey, violet and cream peach. Signature on lower left: J Roybal. Housed in a gold bamboo wooden frame with tan linen matting. Frame size: 14"L x 12"H x 1.75"W. Artwork dimensions: 9.5"L x 7.5"H.
