Baldeweg's training as an architect is evident in much of his graphic work, with its emphasis on line and perspective. He is currently a professor at Universidad Politenica de Madrid, his alma mater. Baldeweg was the 1990 recipient of the prestigious Premio Nacional de Artes Plasticas, awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sport.
