Juan Pablo Salinas y Teruel (Spain, 1871-1947). An antique portrait of a lady oil painting on canvas. The work depicts a young Spanish female musician resting on her guitar. Signed lower right quadrant. Presented in gilt wood and velvet frame with bronze "P.SALINAS" name plaque at bottom center. Provenance: This item originated from a distinguished auction event hosted by Sotheby's in October 1995, designated as LOT 307 at the Neues Schloss (New Castle), Baden-Baden, Germany. It was a part of the royal collection belonging to Margrave Max von Baden (1933-2022), a prominent figure in European aristocracy and the first cousin of Prince Charles III. This auction showcased a selection of valuable items from his esteemed collection.
