Golden Wedding Anniversary Vase : KPM Berlin, c. 1835 Crater form, square plinth, the handle and rim gilt, the foot and base of the dome decorated with gold foliage, the reverse with a colourful painted depiction of a couple in antique garb holding hands above a pedestal with flames and the date ''1785 // 1835'', the inscription ''Zum freundlichen Andenken des12ten April 1835'' etched in gold, framed by a colourful floral wreath. Porcelain. In the base underglaze blue painter's mark, reddish brown eagle mark of the painting workshop and Venus symbol. "1785 // 1835" reichend, verso goldradierte Inschrift "Zum freundlichen Andenken des12ten April 1835", gerahmt von einem bunten Bluetenkranz. Porzellan. Im Sockel unterglasurblaue Malermarke, rotbraune Adlermarke der Malereiwerkstatt und Venussymbol. H. 42 cm, D. 28 cm. - Am Rand und Schaft restauriert. - Geschenk anlaesslich des 50.
