Jules Verne - L’Agence Thompson and Co - 1907

Beautiful copy of the work of Jules Verne, the Thomson and Co agency, in which a young French aristocrat signs up as an interpreter-cicerone on the Seamew, a ship chartered by the Thompson and Co agency which offers around sixty tourists lured by ridiculous prices for a cruise which will take them to the Azores, Madeira and the Canaries. Upon arrival in the Azores, the lack of organization and preparation of Thompson, the cruise administrator who accompanies the passengers, is obvious and as the days and stopovers pass, the cruise turns into a nightmare.

Beautiful cardboard with very clean boards and shiny gold, slight wear to the corners and caps, spine a little faded but the gold is present, beautiful regular golden ingot gutter.
