The panel is slightly loose from the frame With frame measures 44 x 53 Born in Sant Esteve d’en Bas in 1926, he studied fine arts in Olot (Girona, Spain) and as of 1950 he worked as a teacher of perspective and artistic drawing. He started to paint at the young age of 13, and he is a “pesebrista” (dioramas) since his youth. He was awarded in different provincial competitions and he obtained the silver medal of the School of Fine Arts of Olot and the first prizes of artistic Nativity scenes in the years 1950, 1952 and 1953 in Bilbao.
