"Napolen I-er. Forging Empire." Bronze sculptural composition, created ca. 1904 in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Napoleon being crowned as an emperor of French, depicting a Classical athletic warrior having a strong grip of marble block and focused on an antique bronze medal of bust profile left of Napoleon I in full military uniform with N under Imperial crown next to him. Sculpture signed in bronze on the base back; attached to marble plinth.
Condition: Sculpture is very good, some light soils and minute scuff on the the left buttock; marble base with a few small losses.
